Pavonis Interactive, the creators of the Long War mod for XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM: Enemy Within have been hard at work on its successor for XCOM 2. So, get ready to crouch in a long fight, Commander.2K and Firaxis Games today announced that Long War 2, the mod for XCOM 2 on PC from Pavonis Interactive, is now available from Steam Workshop. You can check the Github archieve for instructions on how to install the Long War of the Chosen beta. The remodeling team behind Long War has also been engaged working on Terra Invicta, which is an all-new strategy game successfully funded on Kickstarter last year. In the latest beta which is expected to be the last beta before the launch of version 1.0, has some important updates: the Chose have been reworked in order to make it stronger.
There are infact three factions with playable soldiers: the Reapers, the Skirmishers and the Templar. Whereas, War of the Chosen is the new massive expansion to XCOM 2 and is more of a total overhaul of the base game than a traditional expansion.
